It seems that in this spring mint hues are everywhere and of course interiors are no exception. So here is a selection of interiors which have mint hues in their color palette – from muted mint to very bright hues of mint. Enjoy!
Finally it’s weekend! I have several magazines waiting for reading and since it is little bit rainy outside I plan to spend some relaxing hours reading and drinking tea … I’ll do it on my couch, but if I had more space in my home I would like to have a corner designed specially for reading.
Today I’m inspired by a beautiful home in Gotland which I found via IKEA Family Live. In this home modern aesthetics is combined with homely warmth so that the result is light and bright and cozy. Enjoy! The fireplace and lots of pillows make this living room so relaxing …
I like the idea of two-sided work space in the hallway and the headboard made of old wood fits perfectly into this bedroom, don’t you think? :)
The last picture is little bit out of the bedroom skylight topic, but somehow the window in this room seemed to be a skylight (before I looked the room more carefully) :) This bedroom has a lovely combination of white and kelly green and I can almost feel the breeze from the open window/door… Which of these is the one you would like to take a nap in?
I hope you have a relaxing weekend and you can sleep as much as you wish! :)
The British clothing brand French Connection has launched a home collection with modern, clean and fresh, yet cozy and rustic look. The collection includes soft furnishings, bedding, lightning, ceramics, storage and occasional furniture. Their items come in neutral color palette of white, taupe, tan, blue, gray and black and use raw materials such as natural wood, metal, wool, cotton, glass.
Below are some of the items of this collection that I liked the most. Are some of your favorites also in the selection I made?
This week starts with some pictures of a gorgeous modern farmhouse – thanks to the wonderful My Scandinavian Home blog for sharing!:)
I think that these flower on the table make this first picture my favorite! So pretty…
What a great light from these big windows! I’m sure I would love the view of surrounding nature while reading in the armchair…
There are so many things I like about this home, for example the cream white wooden walls, linen fabrics, abundance of light and the combination of rustic and industrial design elements with modern cottage style. And of course the flower arrangements you can find in almost every room!
Today it was a really sunny weather here in Estonia and therefore I’ll take you for a visit to a really sunny apartment near Copenhagen. I really like this nordic design style used to decorate these rooms – so much light and space and natural colors. And of course family pet Stampe who can be seen on the first and on the last picture :)
