It’s grey and rainy today where I live, so I really want to do a colorful post to brighten up the day! And it won’t be in mature autumn hues as one might expect, but in happy and bright colors – after all, it’s still summer (officially)!
This tiny summer cottage near Stockholm belongs to Sania Hedengren and is decorated in simple colorful retro style. This place seems very colorful although at closer look you can see that the walls and furniture are all painted white, so the colorful details and the mix of different 70′s patterns are those that give this space its character. Do you like? :)

Would like to see more colorful decorations. There has been plenty of black & white……:-)
Kevin, I’ll try to keep it in mind and add some color to this black and white and neutrals palette predominating in this blog :)
I love this house! The amount of colour is perfectly balanced with white to not be overwhelming. Thanks for the colourful inspiration today! xx

Exactly – the white background allows to use the mix of patterns and bold colors without making the overall picture overwhelming! :)
