This is a beautiful home Kasia Rutkowiak of My Full House. Kasia was born in Poland, but spent most of her grown up life in Denmark where she fell in love with Scandinavian design and lifestyle. In 2014 she moved back to Poland and created Polish-Scandinavian home in Warsaw.

In addition to sharing the photos of her lovely home, Kasia kindly agreed to answer some questions too.

What are the 5 words that you think the best describe your home?
Crowded (laughing), else it surely is quite scandinavian, light, cosy and constantly changing.

What is your favourite spot or favourite piece of furniture in your home at the moment?
It’s difficult to say, as I love many spots in my home. The one I use the most is the workspace in the living room, arranged with the String system which is – if you ask me – one of the most brilliant ideas of all times. I am also in love with our Oliver Furniture glass cabinet. Love their furniture!

What are your favourite places for shopping things for your home? Any favourite webshops?
Living in Poland, I have limited access to the shops selling items coming from the brands that I know best, but I have accepted the challenge so this is not a complaint ;) I often use brands’ own websites for shopping, luckily most of them happily ships within the EU.

What is currently on your wish list for your home?
At the moment I am searching for some nice linen bedding for our bedroom.

What advice would you give to someone who starts decorating and wants to achieve the style similar to that in your home?
I guess that it would be to go after quality and neutral but long lasting versatility, rather than price and what’s hot here and now. Furniture that “grow” or expand without getting boring (vide String!), natural materials and light. Less really is more.

Thank you Kasia for sharing your home and thoughts! For more inspiration visit her blog My Full House or her Instagram feed.
