IKEA is launching a new collection called VIKTIGT in this May and deciding on what can be seen from the sneak peek it is a truly beautiful collection that will be at least as popular as their SINNERLIG collection currently is. Created in collaboration with Swedish glass and ceramic designer Ingegerd Råman, this discreet collection ranges from handmade glassware to furniture and home accessories woven from natural fibers. Simple stylish shapes, pure natural materials and items that are produced by hand – all that makes this collection quite perfect to  me!

Hübsch Tendencies 2016

Danish interior brand Hübsch released their new collection Tendencies 2016 a few days ago and I found many things I like. Their ceramics is my special favorite – simple, practical and beautiful pieces easy to mix together like you can see from the photos above.

Blue trend in home decor | Blue tableware

March 25, 2015

Blue is a real big trend in interior design right now and tableware is no exception. We can see deep indigo tones and inky shades of blue both as patterns and as a solid colours on dinnerware from various brands. Updating your tableware collection with only just some pieces of new ceramics is a easy and affordable way to bring blue trend also to your kitchen and dining room. Here are some of my finds.

Broste Copenhagen tableware. Blue trend

Beautiful tableware Nordic Sea from Broste Copenhagen. It’s soft shades of greyish blue with organic patterns and texture are just divine!

Rörstrand ceramics designed by Monica Förster

Rörstrand Carisma collection

Two of my favourite series of blue themed tableware from one of the most famous Swedish porcelain manufacturers Röstrand  – Inblue (above) and Carisma.

Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted tableware

Blue trend in tableware. Blue Fluted Mega from Royal Copenhagen

Royal Copenhagen definitely has some gorgeous blue dinnerware, for example elegant matte glaze Blue Fluted series (above) and Blue Fluted Mega with gorgeous blue floral pattern.

Below are some of my picks among blue tableware.

RossLab ceramics

September 4, 2012

“Love is in the air” is the name of this lovely collection of ceramics from RossLab. Simple and beautiful!  And these hand painted hearts are just so cute, aren’t they? :)

They have many other lovely items in their Etsy shop (for example a planter with a message “Talk to me” made me smile :), so I recommend you to check them out!
