This stylish two room apartment in the center of Helsinki is the latest design project of interior designer and stylist Laura Seppänen. The apartment is decorated in minimalist Scandinavian style and monochrome color scheme. Wooden flooring and some dark brown furniture pieces add some interest and warmth to the interior. Most of the furniture used is either handmade in Finland or from Finnish furniture brands such as Adea & Valanti. All posters are from The Poster Club.
Love this beautiful minimalist interior styled by talented Annaleena Leino for Blooc house. It’s all about light, shapes and contrasts with green plants, soft textiles and wooden details here and there adding some coziness.
I hope you all had some good rest in the weekend and are ready for the new week ahead. I’m really excited as this is my birthday week – I will start my thirties on Saturday! I have also a surprise for you to celebrate it, so be sure to check back here on Friday!
This modern summer home caught my eye when going through my favorite blogs at the weekend. I like the modern simplicity of this cottage, it would be so nice and refreshing to spent relaxing evenings after long days spent outside in a place like this… Lots of light, clean lines and big windows offering a beautiful view!
Today I got something more colorful for you – a funky apartment decorated in black and white and colorful details. I think that posting more colorful interiors is an official sign that I am going into the spring mood mode :) And no wonder – we have sun and over +5 C degrees, which is quite extraordinary here during this time of the year.
Today I stumbled upon this beautiful nordic home in Hitta Hem. Simple and welcoming, nothing too fancy. White, black and grey color scheme and clean lines give this home a modern feel and use of leather, wood and soft pastels here and there add some warmth. I like!

Today I was really happy to find out that Josefin from 20 kvadrat had shared the photos of her home shot for Residence Magazine. I wanted to see those from the moment she shared on Instagram (follow her @20kvadrat) that her home will be in this issue of Residence and it was totally worth waiting – photos are stunning and her little apartment looks gorgeous and cozy! So sad we don’t have access to the magazine here in Estonia, would really like to read the whole story.
Also, I want to wish a sweet Valentine’s Day to each one of you and have a great weekend!
The same kitchen in two different colors: black and white. I like to see before and after photos, so when I saw pictures of Daniella’s new white kitchen in her blog, I wanted to know what it looked like before. Both versions are gorgeous or what do you think? Black or white?
Üks ja sama köök, kuid köögimööbel on muutunud mustast valgeks. Mõlemad versioonid on ilusad, eks?
This is the home of designer Marie von Lotzbeck and photographer Jacob Kirk in North Zealand in Denmark. It’s decorated in minimalist Scandinavian style by mixing different materials and textures and keeping the color scheme simple and neutral.
Disainer Marie von Lotzbecki ja fotograaf Jacob Kirki kodu Taanis on kujundatud minimalistilikus skandinaavia stiilis kasutades erinevaid materjale ning tekstuure ja jäädes värvikasutuse osas neutraalsete ning tagasihoidlike toonide juurde.
