This incredible interior is a collaboration between Elle Decoration and stylist Pella Hedeby who decorated one apartment in ENSY Continental Apartments project. Different shades of grey and high quality materials together with authentic Danish design pieces from Erik Jorgensen, Montana, Georg Jensen Damask, Kay Boyjsen, Louis Poulsen and Kähler make it feel luxurious. Yet it has that lovely relaxed feeling characteristic to Pella’s stylings.
These photos styled by Riikka Kantikoski for Finnish Design Shop new 24/7 collection are perfect inspiration of how to create modern and stylish Scandinavian style workspace in home or office. 24/7 is a new office furniture collection consisting of functional and good looking pieces for workspaces that look good together and with its simple and minimalist design are easy to complement with other furniture and accessories. This workspace is a good example of what a good styling and well chosen details can do – otherwise quite sterile and ordinary office transforms into inspiring and stylish workspace.
See (kodu)kontor on hea näide sellest, kuidas muidu suhteliselt steriilne ja tavaline ruum muutub stiilseks ja isikupäraseks kui lisada sellele põnevaid aksessuaare ja mõned huvitavad disaintoolid. Kujundatud ühe mu lemmik stilisti Riikka Kantikoski poolt Finnish Design Shop‘i uue 24/7 kollektsiooni tutvustamiseks. 24/7 kollektsioonis on erinevaid funktsionaalseid ja minimalistliku joonega töökohtade jaoks mõeldud mööblitükke, mis oma lihtsuses on väga kergesti kombineeritavad ja täiendatavad.
I know it’s a second post about bedroom in a row (which may indicate that I need a little more sleep…), but I can’t help myself. Love this bedside styling I found today – black and white and neutral color scheme with beautiful details. This kind of box shelf is a great alternative for traditional bedside tables when you don’t have room for them or just want something different.
A new collection from danish House Doctor is now online and this year it’s called Authentic Notes. The emphasis of this collection is on outdoors and how to make it an extension of our homes. Be it spontaneous gatherings on the terrace, quality time in the garden or enjoying dinner under the stars…
The collection embraces materials and textures with an authentic look and uses mostly light and airy hues to enhance natural light.
There’s something charming in the combination of white tiles and black grout used in these kitchens. It gives the kitchen instantly more graphic and industrial look. Goes well with both white kitchen cabinets and also with black ones. Definitely a bit bolder choice than classic look with white tiles combined with white grout, but at least based on these examples it has paid off well!
Leather chairs are definitely among my favorites, be it a classical Arne Jacobsen Egg chair or Swan chair or some vintage chairs. Leather items add texture and warmth to any interior, but I think that they look especially good in simple and monochrome Nordic interiors where these beauties get all the well deserved attention :)
I don’t know why I waited so long, but finally I’m also on Instagram! Actually I have been there for a month now and some of you may have already encountered me there, but I wanted to give it a sort of ‘test period’ before making it more public as I thought that maybe I don’t like it and stop using it after some weeks. Now I can say that it’s really fun and inspiring and I regret it oh so badly that I didn’t join earlier… But better late than never, right? :)
This beautiful home near Copenhagen belongs to interior stylist and photographer Mette Wotkjær and her family. Christmas decorations used in this home are very simple and match the style of this home. If you like this modern and natural style, you can follow these Christmas decorating tips from Mette:
– use nature: bare branches and cones, for example.
– stick to nature’s own colors, keep the style simple
– mix the rustic with fine and delicate
