Today I like this home in Sweden, especially the combination of white with darker natural colors in that living room. And of course the spacious and airy bedroom with large windows!

Some days ago I wrote that I’m waiting for snow. Well, now we got snow, lot’s of it to be honest. Maybe even too much in too little time and with too strong wind :) But it’s really beautiful outside and the Advent time will start with white ground! It gets me into the right mood and I’ll definitely do some Christmas preparations this weekend. Usually, I wait until the beginning of December and since it’s 1st of December tomorrow I have a green light to start!
What are your plans for the week-end? Have you done some Christmas stuff already or still waiting the holidays to come closer?

This week it’s Four Favorites for Saturday instead of Five Favorites for Friday :)
Here where I live it has been many misty, rainy and dark November days in a row and actually I don’t even remember when was the last time I saw the sun shining… maybe two weeks ago? I’m already waiting for the white and soft snow that would make it all fresh and light :) But until then candles, hot drinks, cozy blankets …
Have a lovely weekend dear readers!

If you spend as much time looking at design blogs as I do you have probably already seen the gorgeous pictures of Christmas mood in designer and calligrapher Ylva Skarp home. Since I really like the cozy and simple look of this home I must share it also here :) I like how the nature feels surrounding the home feels present also inside the house. Interior is in calm tones, with white, grey and black as the base. Sheepskins, paper decorations, candles, pine cones and twigs make it feel cozy and ready for the winter holidays…

Have you seen a new Bodie and Fou catalogue? It’s full of lovely products and inspiring images! Their product shots are so well styled that it is just a pure joy to look around their catalogue and also web-shop. I think it adds so much value to a product when I can see it “in action” :)
I chose some of my favorite images from their webshop to share with you, but I recommend that you definitely check them out yourself – so much beauty and so much inspiration!

It’s a beautiful Friday today! Of course, I think that most of the Fridays are beautiful because of the two free days coming, but this one is extra beautiful since we had a really sunny morning here! It was so nice to walk and breath in the crisp autumn morning air and look how the rising sun shined through the yellow-green leaves on the trees… :)
With this random selection of inspiration I wish you all a really great weekend and many sunny mornings for this autumn (or spring for those reading it from the other side of the globe!)
